Half of a Yellow Sun debuts in cinemas - Generates N280m
The much awaited cinema release date for the highly anticipated movie ‘Half of a Yellow Sun’ is finally here as it opens in cinemas on Friday 1st of August.
The movie which has been released in cinemas in the UK, USA, Australia and New Zealand and has generated N280 abroad from cinemas viewings, in-flight viewing right sales, and online viewing right sales,and its expected to do more in the Nigerian market, as the producer, director and writer are Nigerians.
The movie features BAFTA award winner and Oscar nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor, BAFTA award winner Thandie Newton, Genevieve Nnaji, O.C. Ukeje, Zack orji and Onyeka Onwenu
